David Andersen has been playing up a storm lately. Recently dubbed “Music City Ambassador” by the Associated Press and profiled as the ”hardest working entertainer in Music City” by the TENNESSEAN, Andersen is playing somewhere in Nashville every day.
In addition to his daily performances at the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum, his weekend shows at the Union Station Hotel and Wednesdays at the Sommet Center,

But next weekend, David Andersen will reach a career high by playing for the
2009 Music City Walk Of Fame Induction Ceremony. Some of Tennessee’s leading lights will be on hand to commemorate this occasion. Honorees to be inducted include Dolly Parton, Charlie Daniels, Ernest Tubb, Tootsie Bess and Kid Rock. With Gov. Phil Bredesen presiding, Andersen and his guitar will provide the soundtrack to the proceedings.
Sunday, November 8th, will mark the seventh Walk of Fame Induction Ceremony, and Andersen has played for each of these historic events, saluting over 40 heroes of music. It is always a grand scene as each Nashville legend is introduced to the crowd. While the gathered fans and press witness the artist receiving their star on the boulevard, Andersen plays their signature song. Previous Inductees include Reba McEntire, Michael McDonald, Emmylou Harris amd Vince Gill.
The new November 2009 class is one of the most distinguished ever. So, be sure to come out and help the
